I had a giant smile parked under my mask!!!

My first Clutch concert, and it was at the 9:30 Club! Neil Fallon is one of the most interesting front men I've witnessed. It's like DNA was captured from a tent revival preacher, Marilyn Manson, and a suburban Maryland dad to form a bigger-than-life, completely present human. I'm kind of new to Clutch, but his delivery and the superb sound of the 9:30 Club (with my EarAsers) drew me straight into his lyrics, which are of the storytelling variety. Other highlights were the drumming of Clutch's Jean-Paul Gaster who was a beast, the primal drumming by Ryan Gut of Stoner, and Nathan Bergman's soulful kick-off... what a voice! Super cool to see some young kids there, too!
